The purpose of this elective is to provide a remediation option for students who have demonstrated a lack of progress in their scholarly projects. After evaluating Progress Report III due in October of the MS3 year, in case of unsatisfactory progress and with agreement of the student's mentor, the Scholarly Project Directors will recommend to the Associate Dean for Student Affairs that the student enroll in this elective. The aim is to provide the student with dedicated time to accomplish the aims of the project as specified in their prospectus.
