Course Description

The Division of Urology clinical elective has been created to allow medical students to focus a minimum of two weeks on the surgical subspecialty of Urology. The goal is to provide dedicated exposure to the diagnosis and management of adult and pediatric Urologic diseases. These include urologic oncology, stones, male and female voiding dysfunction, male and female urologic reconstruction, sexual dysfunction and infertility, laparoscopy, and robotic surgery. Participation with in patient care in the operating room, in the outpatient clinics and emergency room, and on the wards is required.
