Applied practice in sheltered content instruction for English language learners within Arizona Agriscience programs. Topics include: lesson plan development, sheltered teaching strategies, first and second language acquisition theory and the Sheltered Instruction Observation Protocol (SIOP) model. This course is designed to meet and fulfill the LRC 417 requirements.
