Course Description
ARE 310 is designed to provide advanced art and visual culture education students with comprehensive and engaging experience in understanding how historic and contemporary theories of teaching and learning situate and describe instruction in multiple educational settings. Particular emphasis is placed upon the integration of multiple learners and students with special needs into general educational settings. This includes gifted and talented learners. Students will attain the skills necessary to include special education students in classroom learning and to achieve successful inclusive, collaborative education for special students in general education classes.
