This course is designed to introduce you to the fundamental skills required to lead soldiers in both combat and non-combat situations. The course has three broad purposes: (1) To provide you with the knowledge and skills necessary to be a valued and successful leader in the Wildcat Battalion Corps of Cadets; (2) To prepare you for successful completion of the Leadership Development and Assessment Course (LDAC) next summer; and (3) To prepare you to be successful in the final year of the Advanced Course both academically and as the senior cadet leadership of the Corps of Cadets.
