Course Description

This course instructs students with skills in the assessment and instruction of assistive technology for persons with visual impairment. Students will learn to use specialty hardware devices and software applications for people with visual impairments, critically analyze features of adaptive devices, assess the technology needs of individuals with visual impairments, and create lesson plans and curricular adaptations related to technology.
