Course Description
The primary goal will be to provide the student an opportunity to understand how hormones interact to regulate normal linear growth and puberty The student after completion of the rotation, will be able to identify abnormalities of growth and puberty. The secondary goal will be to explore the pathophysiology of common endocrine disorders of childhood. These include type 1 and type 2 diabetes-mellitus, thyroid abnormalities and congenital adrenal hyperplasia.
