Course Description

The emphasis of this course is for second-year graduate planning students to share their internship experience with first-year planning students as well as preparing for a career in planning. Students will create LinkedIn profiles, learn networking techniques, develop resumes, draft cover letters, and practice mock interviews. Planning practitioners will also share their expectations of students searching for a first job opportunity in planning. Students will be exposed to a diverse assemblage of career opportunities in the profession of planning. This will provide them with a foundation for developing a successful career in planning.
