Course Description

Insect Discovery is a special University of Arizona course that combines insect biology and inquiry-based science teaching experience Undergraduates are the teachers who lead visiting school children through a series of hands-on, inquiry-based activities that teach basic biology using insects. In this course you will learn both about insects and about communicating science to the public. At the same time, you will provide a special learning experience for children in the Tucson community.
