Course Description
Emphasis of this course is to prepare first-year graduate planning students in the acquisition and completion of a planning internship (PLG 693 Internship) under the supervision of a professional planning practitioner. Formal presentations will be made by second-year graduate planning students in PLG 696B Career Development Seminar to share their internship experiences with the first-year students. Planning practitioners will also share their expectations of students searching for and completing internships. Students will be exposed to a diverse assemblage of internship work related to the profession of planning. This will provide them with a foundation for developing their internship focus.
