Course Description

This course will examine the elements of typical mining transactions, beginning with an overview of what areas of mineral title and legal issues that need to be examined in performing due diligence for a mineral property. The material will then proceed through the types of agreements encountered in mining transactions. Materials to be considered include check lists and form contracts to control mineral properties, reduce financial risk, protect confidential information and touch on some of the pitfalls of financing.
