Course Description
This course is designed to give the student an understanding of how to use Autodesk's AutoCAD software to facilitate the creation of technical drawings for use in shops specializing in scenic production. AutoCAD is used by many industries, but this is a class in drafting for the stage. Therefore, the focus will be on learning how to create working drawings for theatrical applications. Graduate-level requirements include researching and teaching one topic related to the AutoCAD software to the class. Graduates will assume facilitator role with group projects as well.
