Course Description
Course format includes didactic lectures, dry laboratories, patient panels, small group case-based instruction sessions, independent learning modules and team learning sessions. All lecture materials, reading assignments, case presentations and required dates of attendance will be posted to the PhoenixMed portal for student access. Typical session hours for this course are as follows: Mondays and Fridays 9-12 and 1-3; Tuesdays and Thursdays 8-12; Wednesdays 9-12. While various faculty from multiple disciplines teach in this course, the course is assigned a leadership team consisting of a director, co-director and program coordinator (see course syllabus for detailed personnel information).
