Course Description
This course explores various cultural, social, technological, and ideological influences on the built environments of different cultures from around the world between approximately 1350 and the early 20th century. In addition to investigating individual works of architecture and their contexts, the course examines developing ideologies of prominent practitioners and theoreticians.
