Course Description
To expose students to the principles of otolaryngology/head and neck surgery. There will be exposure to patients of all ages with surgical and clinic exposures to head and neck cancer treatment, sinus and skull base surgery, hearing loss and ear surgery, and pediatric otolaryngology.
The student will be integrated into the clinic and surgical suite and asked to participate in all aspects of care including surgical assistance. They will be asked to participate in history and physicals in the clinic and formulate an appropriate plan of care for the patients. They will be expected to be at all clinics as well as operative days.
