Course format includes didactic lectures, simulation activities, patient panels, small group case-based instruction sessions, independent learning modules and team learning sessions. All materials, reading assignments, case presentations and required dates of attendance will be posted to the PhoenixMed portal for student access. Typical session hours for this course are as M-F 8 am - 4 pm with a one hour break for lunch. While various faculty from multiple disciplines teach in this course, the course is assigned a leadership team consisting of a director and an academic coordinator (see course syllabus for detailed personnel information).
