Course Description
This course focuses on ethics in the context of civic leadership. The goal of the course is to provide an understanding of the responsibility to establish ethics and integrity, and the tension between ethics and leadership. Students will learn about value conflicts, and how to adjudicate disputes and sanction conduct. Self-reflection will involve examining how ethics and values are reflected in words and actions and how they are tied to our principles, shared beliefs and legal frameworks.
