Course Description

In Pharmacology 601B, students will introduced to the mechanism of action and side effects of medications used as antibiotics, antivirals, cancer chemotherapeutics and agents used to treat a variety of disorders/diseases involving the pituitary, pancreas, thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal gland. Medications impacting the function of the immune system will also be covered. The side/adverse effects of these drugs will also be emphasized.
