This course is designed to develop theoretical and clinical competencies in the anesthetic care of patients with complex disease states across the lifespan. This course builds on the knowledge gained about basic and advanced anesthetic principles and pathophysiological disease concepts discussed in prerequisite coursework to determine evidenced-based anesthetic care modalities.
