Course Description

An infographic (information graphic) and data visualizations are representations of information in a graphic format designed to make the data easily understandable at a glance. Students will learn how to collect and work with data to create compelling information graphics and data visualizations. Discussions, presentations, videos, and tutorials in typography and image-making using Adobe Creative Suite will be part of the course. Students will be encouraged to challenge their perceptions of infographics and explore their own unique style as well as work within specified design boundaries.
