Educ Policy Studies & PracticeGraduateUA - UA General

Course ID

Course Description

This is a third-semester course in applied statistics with an emphasis on program evaluation research. The course focuses on multivariate regression using non-linear dependent variables, such as categorical dependent variables (e.g, dropout, marital status) and logged continuous variables. The methods we will focus on are log-linear models, binary logistic regression, and - to a lesser extent - multinomial logistic regression, which is an extension of binary logistic regression.
