Course Description

This course is focused on how animals are affected by toxic substances. The lectures will cover the principles of toxicology, factors affecting response to chemicals, common mechanisms of toxicity, toxicity to key organs, and the toxicity of substances relevant to small and large domestic to animals. In addition to the evaluations above, graduate students will complete three written assignments that will be counted within the exams (60%) component.
