This course will introduce you to a broad range of practical and theoretical leadership concepts. Within those leadership concepts you will identify the essential traits of effective leaders in academic and professional settings. Throughout the course you will be asked to consider the effect that knowledge, behavior, social influence, and decision making have on the leadership role. Course participants will use the knowledge and understanding gained in this course to complete a leadership project that requires each participant to actively use leadership traits in an appropriate academic or professional setting.
