Course Description
Students will acquire a foundation in orbital mechanics with comprehensive study of Earth orbits and some analysis of interplanetary trajectories. Mechanics, time-displacement, and classical coordinate systems will be emphasized. Real satellites and spacecraft will be the basis for many problems.
Individual design project (versus group project for undergraduates), as well as additional topics and more advanced homework assignments.
