Course Description
The Neurology clerkship is designed to teach medical students the principles and skills needed to recognize and manage the neurological diseases that a general medical practitioner is most likely to encounter in practice. Students will learn to perform a thorough neurologic history and examination by the completion of this rotation. The role of the faculty and housestaff is to provide guidance, stimulation, support and example. Students will be divided amongst various services at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center, Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center and the Phoenix VAMC.
