The practical application of theoretical learning within a small group setting and involving an exchange of ideas and practical methods, skills, and principles. To understand better the lived experience of people with developmental disabilities through their community systems of services, support and advocacy. Students will direct experience a community based group of organization in the disability field, attend community events or meetings, attend a workshop to get acquainted with different careers in the disability field and meet with all students and mentors to discuss Portfolio.
