Course Description

Biological Structure I covers one of two major methods for acquiring atomic structures of proteins and nucleic acids, X-ray crystallography. Biological Structure II covers the other major method, NMR spectroscopy. The emphasis is more conceptual than mathematical and focuses on the strengths and weaknesses of each approach.
