Course Description

This course introduces the fundamentals of computer science theory, by surveying key concepts from (a) discrete mathematics, (b) data structures and algorithms, and (c) automata and formal languages, that form the foundation of theoretical computer science. The content is designed to provide in one course a broad survey of the essentials of computer science theory for non-majors. This course is not available for credit by computer science pre-majors or majors.
