Course Description

This course will cover fundamental radiation biology needed by physicists and engineers involved in radiation sciences. Topics will include the effects of radiation on biological molecules, cells and man including cancer and mutagenesis. Additionally, the use of radiation in the treatment of disease will be discussed. Mathematical methods in radiobiology will also be discussed.
