Select 18-20-member ensemble which performs outstanding and representative works in the jazz big band repertoire and serves as a learning environment workshop as well as an outreach activity of the UA School of Music. As such, historically, it has worked as a semi-professional inside/outside campus organization providing beneficial musical experiences for a wide and varied audience
