This course will explore the geoscience aspects of energy, including the geologic conditions and processes that control the formation of the essential elements of energy-related geologic systems, the technological tools and methods that are used in exploration and assessment of these resources, with an emphasis on case studies and exercises from a broad range of global tectonic settings.
