Course Description

For advanced undergraduates and graduate students in biological and ecological sciences, and math students: learn how to apply basic tools of mathematical tools (from simple back-of-the-envelope estimates to formal stability analysis using difference and differential equations) to biological problems including population dynamics, species coexistence, population genetics, links between ecosystems ecology and Global biogeochemistry, and biological scaling.
