Course Description

Pharmacology is the study of how drugs change human physiology to prevent disease and to reduce/remove the impact of diseases. This course will present the basic principles of pharmacology, as well as instruction in the diverse mechanisms-of-action, and pharmacological effects (both desired and undesired!) of the major classes of drugs currently used to treat and prevent human diseases.
