Advanced topics in model-based systems engineering (MBSE), which is the formalized application of modeling to support system requirements, design, analysis, verification and validation activities beginning in the conceptual design phase and continuing throughout development and later life cycle phases. The course examines and compares extent approaches to the generation and use of such models and current research in this subfield of systems engineering.
