Course Description
Students learn critical inquiry, research design and methods, teamwork, information literacy, communication, lifelong learning and research ethics. Students develop their interest in clinical or translational research with the course instructor who assists in pairing each student with a research mentor. The student and mentor work collaboratively on the chosen Master's Report (Scholarly Project). This course is part two of a two-part course. MEDP 909B will culminate in a written prospectus and an oral presentation to a panel prior to completion of the program. This panel will consist of the COM-P Scholarly Project Director, course instructor, MMS Program Director, and one additional faculty member.
