1. To train students to have the attitudes, knowledge and skills necessary to be exemplary physician leaders and advocates in order optimize health and health care in Arizona and beyond.
2. To provide experiential opportunities for students to engage with health care policy and advocacy efforts.
3. To assist students in identifying the multiple opportunities and avenues that exist for advocacy.
4. To facilitate comparison of strategies for successful advocacy and identify ways in which practicing physicians can apply these strategies.
