Course Description

Experiential [learning] is a philosophy and methodology in which educators purposefully engage with students in direct experience and focused reflection in order to increase knowledge, develop skills, and clarify values (Association for Experiential Education, para. 2). This is course will provide students hands on learning on how to plan and design inclusive domestic and international experiential learning programs for higher education. Through lectures, discussions, assignments, and travel programs, this course provides students with an opportunity to study and learn about the socio-cultural and socio-political histories of diverse cultural locations.
