Course Description

The focus of this course is the role of the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in leadership and advocacy in autism spectrum disorder. Emphasis is on the synthesis of graduate-certificate ASD content in clinical practice. Practical issues of collaboration and reimbursement for services are explored. A clinical practicum experience allows the student to apply didactic content.
