Course Description

Students will have discussions with successful designers and entrepreneurs, observe the Hack Arizona event, develop a project concept, and develop idea-pitching skills. By the end of the course, students will be able to produce a short video in which they identify a need or opportunity, document the iterative design process they used to address the identified need, and pitch their proposed product or system design. Students will compete for prizes and awards.
