Course Description
This course will introduce Music Education majors all things related to percussion and percussion pedagogical techniques. These include mallet keyboard, snare drum, timpani, auxiliary percussion, hand drumming, Ethnic percussion, drum kit, and various other percussion related areas. Students will be expected have proficiencies performing on, and teaching in all the areas of percussion covered in this course. As future K through 12 music teachers, you will be teaching students in the majority of these areas of percussion.
