Lectures, homework, guest lectures, and in-class activities will help students develop research skills required for both qualitative and quantitative research.
This course will train all students to quantitatively and qualitatively analyze real world data used in the planning and design of the built environment. This is a writing intensive course that assigns writing as a tool for learning. Students will also develop and advance their writing skills through the completion of each proposal section. Graduate students can use this course to develop ideas and concepts for their master's thesis. Undergraduate students are encouraged to use this course to develop ideas for their Senior Capstone.
