Principles of Clinical Research I will provide knowledge and practice on various aspects of clinical research for students and fellows in a variety of subspecialties. Students must demonstrate knowledge of established and evolving clinical research standards, regulations, and practices. Students must have a working understanding of the role of clinical research relative to clinical care, ethical foundations, and regulatory oversight mechanisms for clinical research. Upon completion, students should be effective in pursuing clinical research activities and teaching both individuals and groups of learners in clinical research settings, classrooms, lectures, and seminars.
