Course Description

In this course, students will learn to analyze the economic and social impact potential of early-stage University Innovations. Additionally, students will, in teams, apply their assessment skills to identify current or anticipated unmet needs and will develop innovative ideas of their own to resolve these identified unmet needs. Sample University Innovations will be selected by the instructor from applicants for investment to the local organized early-stage investor group, the Desert Angels, as well as to Tech Launch Arizona. Graduate students will be given an opportunity to present their findings on selected innovations to local investors.
