Course Description

This course will provide an overview of anatomy, physiology, pathobiology and pharmacology of the human nervous system. The course is intended as an introduction to human neurobiology for students in the biomedical sciences including psychology. The course will provide students planning careers in the pre-health science professions (Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, Public Health, etc.), as well as students planning a career in biomedical research, with a valuable grounding in the fundamentals of neurobiology.
