Course Description

This course brings together national and international leaders on a wide range of hot and emerging topics under the broad umbrella of health law and policy. Leaders present their high-quality scholarship and engage students in debate as well as raise larger questions about the future of health care in the US and abroad. Topics range from public health protections, patient safety and quality of care, end-of-life care, medical record privacy, informed consent, among many others. Students will gain a better understanding of the wealth of issues in health law and critical intersections between medicine, law, ethics, and science.
