Course Description
The One Health in One World coursework series is part of a curriculum that is open only to admitted Doctor of Veterinary Medicine students in the UA College of Veterinary Medicine (VM 805A, 805B, 805C, and 805D) and represents four consecutive semesters and will focus on public health issues at the local, national, and international level with emphasis on the role of the veterinarian in understanding and responding to zoonotic disease and food safety. The one-health context of veterinary medicine in interconnected ecosystems will be a recurrent course theme.
