Course Description

During this elective, students will complete online course work in integrative medicine written by professors, practicing physicians, and other field practitioners. The rotation includes content on a variety of topics, including an overview of integrative medicine, physician wellbeing, foundations in mind body medicine and modalities, non-pharmacologic pain, whole systems approaches, and integrative medicine approaches to various health conditions including obesity, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, gastrointestinal disease, endocrine disorders, and mental health.

Students will be able to work at their own pace on the online content and share their reflections with peers through the course website.
