CMM585 - Embryology, Teratology and Birth Defects
Course Description
This course is designed to explore normal and abnormal fetal development by focusing on a range of subjects covering general concepts of genetics, embryology, teratology and dysmorphology. Risk assessment and communication methods, as well as ethical, cultural and legal aspects of genetic counseling will also be discussed. Teaching methodologies will include didactic lectures (including guest lecturers), case studies and outside readings.
