Course Description
The One Health in One World coursework series runs over four consecutive semesters (VETM 805A, 805B, 805C, and 805D). It will focus on public health issues at the local, national, and international level with emphasis on the role of the veterinarian. In the second semester of the course, students will continue to integrate their knowledge of the One Health concept to solve real world problems in various contexts including gastrointestinal zoonotic diseases, vector-borne diseases, and ecosystem health. Students will continue to improve upon their critical thinking skills in terms of evaluation and application of research relevant to One Health.
