Course Description
This course focuses on integrating the principles of change management and theory to complex healthcare systems. The elements of emotional intelligence are identified and applied to principles of effective healthcare leadership. Key strategies to establish and sustain organizational influence in the executive leadership role are developed. Principles of healthcare business, finance and economics will be applied to develop and implement effective plans for practice-level or system-wide practice initiatives as well as supportive scholarship endeavors to improve quality of care delivery.
